Acquisition Extends SendMe's Network of Interconnected Mobile Brands to include Community and Social Media
SAN FRANCISCO, October 10, 2007 — SendMe, the premier mobile media company, today announced that it has acquired mbuzzy, the industry's first off-portal mobile community in the U.S. market. mbuzzy provides both an online and mobile environment to let people interact, share user-generated content and stay connected while on-the-go. With mbuzzy.com SendMe adds community and social media capabilities to its portfolio of interconnected brands, which also includes SendMeMobile.com and SoLow.com. The acquisition further solidifies SendMe's position as a leader in mobile content, entertainment, and now community. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
